This page contains useful information relating to your pension benefits with British Airways in the USA.
Retirees who are currently in receipt of their pension may now update their personal details online via https://ba.mypenpay.com. If you have not received a password, or need to speak to a State Street representative, please call State Street Retiree Services directly on 877-276-0286 (9am-5pm EST Monday to Friday). State Street can assist you with any of the following:
- Set up or change banking details for direct deposit
- Change of address
- Change tax withholdings
- Request a stop and reissue of a payment
- Obtain a copy of the 1099-R tax statement
- Obtain a pension verification letter for a home refinance

For information on your vested pension benefit, including calculations and retirement options that may be available to you, please submit a request using the “Contact Us” box at the top of this page.
If you wish to begin receiving your pension benefit, you will need to submit a request in writing stating your intended retirement date, at least 60 days beforehand, to the following address:

If you are currently married, or have been married for any period since leaving British Airways, you will need to include a copy of your marriage certificate and your spouse’s date of birth.
Please note that normal retirement age is 65, however you may elect to receive a reduced benefit any time after your 55th birthday. Early pensions are reduced by approximately 5% for each year you are short of age 65.
It is important that you keep British Airways informed of your most up to date address, please send any address changes via the “Contact Us” box at the top of this page.
Any Union employees who worked for British Airways after September 2003 may have a vested pension with the IAMAW National Pension Fund.

If you are a family member of a British Airways retiree who has passed away, or you are the Executor for their Estate, please contact the British Airways People Department as soon as possible on 212-716-0467.
Any survivor benefits and / or life insurance will be established and communicated to you in writing within one week. Please note you will be required to submit an original certified copy of the retiree’s death certificate.
